Hello and welcome. This blog features writing about the built environment, sustainable development, communities, and placemaking.
I set up this blog at a time when I was setting up and running my own consultancy practice, Composition Advisory Limited in the UK, in the summer 2009. I’m an ecosystems-thinker and doer, using my finance and banking background to help people and social entrepreneurs define and achieve their aims through good business model design, customer development, and strategy. I’m now based in Vancouver, Canada and am also consulting on and writing about impact investment, social finance, and new economics at bonnie.foleywong.com. I founded an investor network called Pique Ventures, for people committed to investing in an integrated way. I work with women investors interested in making early stage investments in businesses led by women, that serve women, or where we can help with leadership and Board diversity.
